Believe In Our Youth

I've been seeing this floating around my social media lately, and
It reads "To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow" by Aubrey

true, yes,  I believe
and believe too - in our youth
i try to be nice to them
esp. if going through school

cuz school is hella cruel
it will bite you up
and give you a good chew
spit you up - as if you were "old news"

anywhos..
All we need to do
is come through
and let them know
that we've been there too

so for the seeds of you
and for the seeds of me,
let's nurture the seeds that all belong to we

we too believe
for tomorrow's humanity
to raise them greens
and to raise our teens
