Large skinny spider, on my wall..
Startled me, felt the awe.
Adult for sure, wanted TnR
(trap aand release)
But rainy day, evening, actually
Conditions too harsh, to let her "free"
felt a little bit - lil uneasy
So I let her stay: on the wall
Walked away, now dunked in awe
(ok, wasn't really dunked because overcoming fear came in baby steps but anyways,)
(btw, this is not my infographic. i screenshotted it from a friend on FB. shout out to its original creator!)

My fat hurts
Last month I went on a 2-night cabin trip with some friends. I had such a great time not thinking about anything but fun and chillax. The food was super bomb - shout out to the amazing chef we had in the group and all the helper outters.
After 3 days of sausage, eggs, ramen, fried thangs, chips, candy, and booze, my fat hurt! Yes, literally, the fat on my body hurt! I would run my fingers along the fat in my body and.. i.. just.. hurt.
Our bodies are amazing at protecting us. No matter what we do, it always finds a way to help the best way it knows how. Well on this particular weekend, my body was overloaded with toxins and it did what it knew best; jammed it in my fat! Ah, and thank you fat, for keeping the toxins away from the other parts of my body.
Exercise and sweat those toxins out of your fat. Treat your crew well. Common, President ;)
As the President of my body, I thank my gazillion cells that make me.
Thank you, crew, for always trying to keep me as healthy as can be.
You are acing homeostasis. LMK what's up with you, how I can help the crew.
Let me treat you to a salad and a tincture :) LOOOVE you guys :)
Big hugs all around. (and again, yes i really did hug myself; try it :))

Stop trying
I've been trying to eat so healthy that i ended up with a salad so large I stopped enjoying it; it became a chore. But since i've adopted a joyful and forgiving life, I started to do things more instinctually. Here I am enjoying a nice portion of a healthy salad! (But not to mention the rest of my day consisted only of Chinese milk tea and Cheez-its, no joke. Ok, I had alkaline water too but anyways.... still got love; I'm not perfect. Ahh.. I love saying that... o snap, new mantra: I'm not perfect! ^_^)
Plus, "healthy" is really state of mind. Think about it: People in their 80's smoking, drinking, whatever. Yea, they've probably got the good genes but I'm willing to bet they don't feel guilty about their life choices. There really is a science to it. I haven't learned enough to explain it yet (someday) but the theory is when we are happy, our cells become receptive as opposed to resistant. So don't be a grouch eating that salad cuz "it's good for you"; attitude is what's good for you.
Stop trying --> start forgiving --> start loving --> start living. woo hoo!!!
Can i get a high five, anyone?
Can i get some readers, anyone? ahhahah
It doesn't matter how many readers I get, what matters is state of mind and state of heart.
Can I get a high five, Susan!?
YEAH! ::high fives myself::
(yes, i really did high five myself - twice!
hehehhehe)

Your lymph doesn't have a pump, OMG!
When somebody is sick, they usually say something like "My lymph nodes are swollen". You know, those bumps around your neck/hickey area? Well, it's true. You have lymph nodes and they are swollen when you're sick.
What is our lymph system and why should you care?
The lymph nodes, or little clusters of sacks, contain immunity cells. When our bodies become infected, our lymph nodes get swollen; literally a battlefield against the foreign matter. Trap the bad guys and fight 'em off with the white blood cells. When the war is over, we need to clean up the aftermath; the bad guys along with the bloodshed and waste caused from fighting the war. No, the nodes do not just escort them out and walk out of the body on their own. The nodes are connected to lymph veins; connected to our colon, connected to our butts, and hopefully if you poop regularly, you'll be able to poop out it allll out.
The lymph veins are like our blood veins, they are found throughout our body; carrying waste throughout our body to be eliminated. But unlike our blood which has a lovely heart to pump the fluids everywhere, the lymph system does not have a pump! Why do you think they say exercising is important? Because the physical motion of the body will help move lymph flow; take that trash out! This is why our nodes are magically placed in all the areas that get a lot of action: the neck, armpit, groin, and stomach. (nerd fact: more than half of your lymph is located in your abs)
And I don't mean to shout but IT'S A ONE WAY SYSTEM!!! Yes our lymph system is a one way street. Once you're clogged somewhere, you're screwed! There's a traffic jam and there are a lot of pissed off cells waiting for this horrible accident to clear. Clogging can be caused from any pressure such as from tight bras, tight pants, injuries, etc..
So my dear friends, please exercise, skin brush, jump on a trampoline, or just bounce around like this guy (cut to 16:25 in the video).

Extra credit if you watch the whole video :)
Be well. Live free. Screw fear.
I'm not perfect and I don't need to be.
You're not perfect, and that's okay too.
We are beautiful.
THANK YOU for reading :)
You rock, bounce it out ;)
